Rei-Ki is an ancient system of self enlightenment and has been attributed to many different belief systems and teachers with the most prominant being Dr Mikao Usui a Japanese teacher and seeker.

In truth many people have discovered and learned to channel the energy that we know as Universal life force, Ki or Prana, and that this can become available to anyone for their own journey or to offer to others.

The healing properties of Rei-Ki, are a by-product of the energy transmission that occurs when we open ourselves up to recieving, and in so doing we can channel this energy toward others to affect an healing.

Although we can offer healing to clients, it is much more beneficial to become attuned to the "Life Force" yourself as you can then make this available whenever you feel the need.

Many people have described the giving and recieving of Rei-Ki as feeling "connected " or "at one " with your self, and in my experience this deep feeling only becomes stronger with use.
